What a cool Widget!

For those who do not know what widgets are, they are simple little snippets of code (sort of like software programs) that can be added to your website. What these “widgets” do is extend the features and functionality of your site. For example, Google themselves have tons of widgets that you can get for your site including stuff like Weather, World Time and so on…

But this little widget that I stumbled upon at the businesspeanuts blog is really something else! It reproduces a miniaturized version of your web site/blog in your side bar or wherever you want to place it. Its called the SpringWidget. I placed mine on my Friendster profile (warr(AT)usa.com). It’s just really cool. OK, rant over. Back to making marketing fun.

hi Calvin, great to see you using it as well. And for me, I found new from your blog too. I didn’t know that you can install a spam script. I have to explore this as well. We all get to learn about new scripts, widgets and gadgets from each other. By the way, are you going for the internet summit in singapore as well?

Yeah, the Internet Summit thingy… will be there… though not all the time as I have other commitments and regretfully will have to be running in and out on some days.
